Nomination Recognizes Outstanding Contributions to the Restoration Marketplace

AUSTIN, TEXAS…David Alkire, National Sales Manager (NSM) for Austin, Texas-based Distinctive Industries, has been nominated for the prestigious ARMO Person of the Year award by the Automotive Restoration Market Organization, a council of the Specialty Equipment Market Association.

The award is bestowed on a worthy SEMA/ARMO member during the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The honor is presented in recognition of a nominee’s substantial contributions to the restoration industry and in acknowledgement of the person’s ongoing record of industry service and support.

Alkire, whose lifelong passion for automobiles has led to an illustrious career, is an active ARMO member-at-large and has been involved in numerous special projects. He currently serves on the council’s legislative task force and writes a legislative blog entitled The Engine.

“We are very proud of David’s nomination for ARMO Person of Year,” stated Distinctive Industries VP Dennis Roberts. “Not only does this nomination recognize David’s many contributions to ARMO and the restoration industry, it also spotlights the important role our company plays in the industry as well.”
